have an eight year old Chocolate Lab named Buster. He

rescued a Boston Terrier/Bulldog mix. He suffered from
chronic nausea and required a high daily dose of Reglan
and Non-Allergy Science Diet, still throwing up at least
once a day. I thought he might not be digesting all
the dry food in his stomach so I switched him to a mostly
wet foot diet with great results. Being vegan myself,
I decided to try Natural Balance® Vegetarian
Formula for my other dog, a pit bull mix. He
liked it and of course my Boston mix got into it. I
was afraid the nausea would return but it did not. In
fact, the chronic nausea has been completely reversed
and he no longer requires Reglan or wet food. He can
eat as much of the Natural Balance Vegetarian Formula
as he wants with no stomach trouble at all. Now we BOTH

for dogs. Both of my dogs have been raised on it and everyone

just wanted to write a short note to let you know how
much I am satisfied with your food. One of your representatives
gave me a coupon for a bag of your food. I got a bag of
the Natural Balance® Vegetarian Formula
for my dog Maybelline. She doesn't have any allergies
or digestion problems. After she finished the first bag
of food we noticed how much softer and shiny her coat
was!!! The ONLY thing we changed was her diet. AMAZING!!!
Now I am telling all of our customers all about the great

you for making such an amazing product! I just recently
started using your Natural Balance® Vegetarian
Formula and I am so happy. My dog has never chowed
down the way he does with this food. He has had recurring
ear infections for the past year and a half. This meant

aging Golden Retriever (16) was recently put on a vegetarian
diet due to richness of meat products with her aging organs.
I orginally was given a prescription dry dog food and
she simply would not eat a bite of it. I then thought
i could make my own food, but after about 2 weeks was
concerned i wasnt giving her the proper nutrition. I decided
to go to the pet store and buy a vegetarian kibble. I
thought this was a simple task... OH NO. After nearly
an hour at the store, and reading just about every label
i thought this task was hopeless. On a whim, I decided
to ask the sales lady and she told me they have one variety
of vegetarian food and led me to your Natural

it must have been the one label I didnt read). I was thrilled
so I bought a small bag and that night decided to give

my Chow-Corgi, was rescued from an abandoned ranch "dog
rescue", where her collar was SO tight and had been
on SO long it had fused to her neck. When we removed it,
it was a terrible mess. She was in poor physical shape
with itchy rashes and was full of parasites. It was also
apparent she had had more than one litter of puppies,
though she was only about 2 years old. After being spayed
and fully treated, we decided to put her on Natural
Balance® Vegetarian Formula in order to help
her immune system build back up. She is now a very happy
and healthy dog, who loves to play with her new doggy

 I
wanted to send a huge Thank you for offering such fantastic
dog food. I'm owned by Bertrim a short red Dachshund.
Her mum was rescued from Hurricane Katrina, she carried
her pups during the aftermath. Bertrim is special he has
life threatening allergies. He is a vegetarian, he cannot
eat any meat at all. His body shuts down completely in
a matter of 24 hours. Such a small number of dogs have
this illness (3%) it was up to me to make sure this wittle
man of mine got better. Three vets and four internists
later I turned to Holistic medicine...my last resort.
I slowly introduced one food at a time, this was easy
to determine if it was food that was making him sick.
We in a week had Bertie boy back after a full month of
withering away, dehydrated didn't even move off his bed
anymore. Bertie is 100% better, has been for five months
now. You wouldn't even know he was so sick... thank goodness
I didn't put him to sleep as so many vets told me to do.

Vegetarian Formula. I share my home with two rescued dogs
who both came to me with terrible skin allergies. Knowing
that many meat products are common allergens for dogs,
I tried several varieties of vegetarian dog foods. I ran
into problems as all of them contained wheat, which one
of my dogs is apparently allergic to as well. After only
a few weeks of feeding my dogs your Vegetarian formula
their skin problems completely cleared up. Thanks so much

Balance's Vegetarian Dog food has been a miracle for my
8 1/2 -year-old White highly allergic English Bull Terrier
Zeus. Both my Bullies are rescues and I got Zeus 4 1/2
years ago. He came to me with Hot Spots, skin bumps, flaming
redness, chronic itching, uncontrollable shedding, dry
brittle coat, not to mention the details of the awful
messes I had to poop and scoop! He had been eating some
type of grocery store food....what a mess! So began the
dog food war....after many tries we finally found Natural
Balance Vegetarian. Within a month we noticed a difference,
now 3 months later Zeus is a happy, itch free, less shedding,
cuddly soft doggy. He eats less, but has gained 6 lbs
back that he lost and poop and scoop....a snap! I recently
adopted a white female Bully who is about 16 mths old
named Hera. She had a fire engine red belly, hot spots,
itching, and the same bowel problems as Zeus. She has
been on NB Veggie for about a month now and her redness
is almost gone, no itching, no hot spots, she's a happy,
bouncy, bully pup. I would highly recommend that pet owners

 I
wanted to share our story with you because it’s
the only way I can thank you. Our miniature schnauzer,
Idgie, got a hold of a box of chocolate slim fast bars.
This caused her kidneys to fail and she was dying before
our eyes. We took her to the vet, but after a couple
of weeks on fluids and chicken (an ordinary vet won’t
prescribe vegetarian food), they sent us home 2 days before
Christmas with the shot we could give her in the IV that
would put her to sleep. Just after Christmas, we remembered
a friend had taken her dog to an alternative medicine
vet and he was able to save her dog's life. So,
we made an appointment and went up there. He said he could
fix the problem with the aqua-puncture and prescribed
Idgie a Vegan diet. She had gotten better, but was
still throwing up regularly and hadn’t gotten her
spunk back yet. Last month, we decided to try and change
her food. We went to Petco to see what we could find.
That is when we noticed the Natural Balance
Vegetarian Dog Food. Idgie has been on this food
now for about a month and our 7 year old mini schnauzer
is like a puppy again. Today, August 7, 2004 we
just got back from Dr. Gurney, the alternative medicine
Vet, and we had her blood work done. Her kidney
numbers are way down! She doesn’t throw up anymore,
and she runs and plays like a normal dog would. It has
been 8 months since we were told we should put her to
sleep. I wanted to say thank you for creating such a wonderful
food. It is the only thing keeps my dog alive and young!

have a five year old mixed breed dog named Reggie that
we love very much. He developed severe food allergies,
and after trying many different foods, we tried your Duck
& Potato food. This helped some but Reggie
still got ill once every week or two. In August, he became
very ill with uncontrolled vomiting & diarrhea. We
took him to the vet, and after a number of tests, they
couldn't find what was wrong. They suggested expensive
surgery that we can not afford. In desperation, we tried
your Vegetarian Formula. Within 3 days
Reggie had stopped vomiting or had no more diarrhea and
he hasn't had any in over 4 months now! Thank you so much
for giving us our loving Reggie back! He is the happiest
