2011 was the third year the Parade has featured a float from Natural Balance Pet Foods, featuring Tillman & Friends and turning out to be among the most beloved in the Parade’s history.
With two levels, the float featured over 4,000 gallons of water, and weighed more than 35 tons, which made it into the Guinnes Book of Records' World's Heaviest Float! At the front of the bi-level float, the dogs skimboarded over a specially engineered material covered in water. A large waterfall cascaded from the upper pool area to the lower deck. While the Tillman & Friends skimboarded at the front section of the float, five competitive dock-jumping dogs leapt into a 9’ wide x 21' long pool of water.
