| Your
dog food has saved my dog from needless poking and medication!
I have a Golden Retriever mix that for years had sensitive
paws prone to rashes and infections. The vets did exploratory
surgery and found nothing then said allergies and prescribed
medication. My petstore recommended I switch his food
to your brand and he no longer suffers from paw infections
or sensitivity. I have now used your Natural Balance®
Potato and
Duck Formula for several years. I have a
new dog who is American Eskimo and my vet cannot believe
how clear his eyes are and have no red stains as most
Eskimos do get around their eyes. I believe 100% that
it is due to the Potato and Duck food. I will NEVER change
brands and I recommend your brand to ALL my friends and
family. We love your food. The food may cost more than
what many customers like to spend however I keep telling
everyone it saves Vet bills and saves money because you
are not buying all the silly creams, srays and allergy

a rescue cat, before and after Natural

Cat Food: We thank you and your company for
all the time, effort, expertise, research and knowledge
that goes into producing your products. Without the Ultra
Premium dry food and the Turkey
and Giblets canned food I sincerely doubt
that Mickey would have survived. As evidenced in his before
photo he was about as far down as a cat can go without
dying. He eats Ultra Premium Formula for dry food (all
my cats do) and I mean they eat it, they love it. And
Mickey has a 1⁄2 of can of Natural Balance Turkey
& Giblet Ultra Premium Canned Cat Food every night.
I feed him separately, it’s funny he waits for me
to bring his dish into the main room in the lower level
and then he hops on one of the cat furniture tops and
eats with me supervising: it’s as if he knows that
the food is essential to his well being. And he is right:
it is essential. And he loves it. Mickey’s skin
is now soft, supple, pink and perfect. It is no longer
thin, flaky, falling off with a touch and a threat to
his overall health. The Ultra Premium Formula and the
Turkey And Giblets Natural Balance did their job. His
nose even is healthy now, it has fur and it is pink and
perfect. He needed no drugs and no supplements - the Natural

you so much for making a hypoallergenic cat food! I have
just discovered your Limited Ingredient Formulas -- suggested
to me by my veterinary allergist. My cat had been eating
Royal Canin Limited Ingredient and was fatiguing on it.
I've tried other lower allergen brands without much success
and it is extremely difficult to find canned cat food
made without chicken or turkey. I tried your Natural
Balance® Duck
& Green Pea Canned Cat Formula and it
is a big hit! I think food allergies are more common in
cats than we have previously believed -- I appreciate
that your company has taken the initiative to create hypoallergenic
products.

just wanted to say that I am more than pleased with your

mix, Marley, suffered from chronic ear infections. I have

| Dear
Natural Balance, I live in Caledon Ontario and have a
9 month old bullmastiff puppy named Rufus. Since we brought
him home at 11 weeks his stools have been very loose and
he suffered from severe gas. We took him to the veterinarians
on several occasions and have tried him on several different
types of foods. The problem continued to get worse. All
of his test results came back negative. Everything appeared
to be fine. We were at our wits end, very distressed about
his condition and the prolonged discomfort our dog had
suffered. The vet suggested that we try a "feeding
trial" for the next 3 months. I couldn't wait another
day let alone 3 months! I went to Global pet foods in
brampton and explained our problem and they suggested
that we put him on Natural Balance® Sweet
Potato & Fish Formula. That it was a
simple food, grain free, and that it just might work.
That day we started to feed him this new food. I noticed
a slight improvement the first day but didn't want to
get my hopes up. 4 days later it's like a miracle has
taken place. He doesn't have anymore gas, he loves his
food, His appetite is back, he is more active, and his
stools are normal for the first time!!!! I feel like shouting
from the mountain tops. This has changed our entire family
life. It has been very difficult having a pet that experienced
so much discomfort. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My only regret is that my Vet didn't suggest this food

my Doberman Pinscher was diagnosed with food allergies.
Initially we started out with a very expensive brand of

Premium Small Bites™. My little Rat
Terrier was having a hard time with other smaller dry
foods. The Wellness people just came out with a small
breed dry as well. So I tried the old taste test and gave
him a small bowl of each to try, he picked yours not once,
not twice, but three different times. Even when I tried
moving the bowls around while he was chewing a bite he
sniffed the other and went right back to N.B. I have been
using the vegetarian dry for one of my Cattle Dogs for
about a year now. Her coat is full and shiny and all the
little bumps and scabs on her skin are gone. Keep up the

writing to thank you for offering the Natural
Balance® Green
Pea and Duck Formula for cats. My cat (Katie)
is approaching 14 and has a lifelong history of digestive
problems. Under the advice of veterinarians I have tried
many different foods and various treatments, all with
limited and temporary success. Recently, after another
ugly bout with the cat's "problem", I found
your food at a local Petsmart and began feeding it to
her. Her health has improved immeasurably. She readily
eats the food (seems to like it) and is once again playing

just wanted to say THANKS for caring enough about what
are animals eat. Our Charlie who is just about 1 now,
we adopted from the shelter had come to us eating another
brand of dry food. Which at the shelters suggestion we
kept her on, when after about 9 months of eating the food
she became ill with a very sensitive stomach where for
over a month we had been feeding her rice & cooked

inherited my mother inlaw's scrawny, 12 year old, mini
poodle 9 months ago. At that time, he weighed 10 lbs,
vomited daily, drank water excessively, and had frequent
bowel movements. He had been hand-fed people food most
of his life and rice and hamburger for the last year.
His coat was dull and lifeless. His blood work showed
nothing abnormal. The vet thought his small intestine
was irritated and prescribed meds in the a.m. and p.m.
for 2 weeks. The vomiting stopped but came back after
2 weeks. I tried 2 preservative, wheat and corn-free diets
which helped with the water and bowel problems, but not
the barfing. I tried a natural supplement with slippery
elm bark, which helped but he still vomited occasionally.
FINALLY, I narrowed the problem down to grain allergy.
When I read the reviews on the Natural Balance®
Sweet Potato &
Venison diet, I had him on it cold-turkey
that night. That was a month ago and he hasn't vomited
since. I added the Fish and Sweet Potato in the a.m. for
his coat and he's looking like a show dog! He now weighs
14 pounds and my white carpet is barf-stain free! Thanks

just wanted to say how awesome your Natural Balance
Ultra Premium Cat
Food is. We started feeding our cat Puck,
Natural Balance when he was a wee kitten, and his fur
now is softer than a bunny. We rescued 5 month old Kittens
from the shelter, a brother and sister about 10 weeks
ago, and started them on Natural Balance as well. When
we got them, their fur was almost wiry. After about 5
weeks, we noticed they were getting glossier, and now,
when you pet them in the dark, you almost can't tell the

thought I had tried everything for my shep mix's hot spots,

it was all he fed his 6 dogs. He was excited that I was

am not one to write product letters, but I am so amazed
at how much my dogs love this food, I had to write. I
had fed Nutro Natural Choice, but started having concerns
after reading about some dogs becoming ill and mine starting
to not feel well, so I looked for a new food. I had given
my dogs the Natural Balance®
Dog Food Rolls
but had never used the dry or can food. We have 5 dogs
in our household. One of them an Irish setter with severe
allergy issues and one of them being a very fussy afghan
hound. She is very paticular about what she eats. Well,
even she is cleaning her bowl and asking for more! They

switched my dogs to your food about 8 months ago in an
effort to take weight off a 6 year old adopted Labrador.
Cutting back her food intake, and other "diet"
foods left her constantly hungry, and scavenging whenever
she could...even stealing from the kitchen counter. I
wanted a food with a lower glycemic effect to help reduce
her hunger, and your Natural Balance® Sweet
Potato & Venison worked. Combined with
daily exercise, she has lost 12 lbs so far, and her coat
has a whole new healthy shine and softness. All 3 of my
dogs love the venison/sweet potato diet. Even my 9 year
old Bichon has new-found "spunkiness." At their
annual physicals, their vet was impressed at their overall
health and condition. She was also thrilled with the lab's
weight loss. I've spent 20 years in pet care business
and I know how often good nutrition is overlooked, even
by veterinarians - because prescribing cortisone for skin
problems is easier than trying to convince a client that
nutrition is the first step in good health care. As a
dog groomer I saw first-hand many success stories in resolving
chronic skin problems with nutrition, but it wasn't always
easy to convince clients to spend extra money on quality
food. Today, when I purchase my 8th bag of Natural Balance,
I'm buying an extra bag for a friend whose dog has chronic,
mild, but annoying skin problems. In a month or so, when
her beloved pet has clearer skin, she'll be emailing too!

just had to take the time to write and say "Thank
you". As long as my dogs are alive I will be using
Natural Balance dog food. I have tried numerous shampoos
and dog foods to help my Golden Retriever's skin problems.
Nothing worked but antibiotics. Now my 10 year old Golden
Retriever has beautiful skin. He always looks freshly
groomed and we have the bonus that he is more energetic
than he has ever been now at the age of 10. I have also
seen improvements in my other dogs appearance and personality.
I will be recommending this dog food to everyone who will
